I am not going to warn people that there are parts of this web space that may be offensive, that is a given, especially if you know me. I can occasionally be very offensive. My friends deal with it. If you can’t–you ain’t my friend, and I’ll get over it. Just like you’ll go away–RIGHT?

If you know me, or think you know me, or whatever…I’m not going to ask you to go away. This is my life. That was my past. I own it all, and I’m not afraid to admit it.

Unless, of course, you’re my kid. Then get the hell outta here. You oughtta know better.

The above was written circa 1997 – yes, I HAVE been doing this for THAT long. I started out on Diaryland, went to Crosswinds, then Geocities. At some point in 2000 I purchased http://timewaits.com and the rest is, as they say, history.

So … here I am again. I’ve been doing this off an on since 1997, sometimes taking breaks as long as two years in between. But it seems like I always come back.

I am just a woman. I don’t have any tips to offer, I can’t tell you how to refinish anything and I am far from being a young mother.

Hang around a while though and at some point I might make you laugh.

runnin’ down a dream

This post was written on what I think was a Friday, but I know it was the 3rd day in the month of February in the year of 2012.

I have issues (say it isn’t SO).

Yup, have ‘em and always have.

I have also always been able to learn how to do something by reading everything I can on the subject and then DOING it. Sometimes doing it over and over until I get good at it.

I did it when I wanted to learn to do nails (I actually got so pissed that I went to cosmetology school to get good at that) and I did it when I wanted to learn how to design websites (I learn something new about that and practice every day).

I can safely and shamelessly say that I pretty much rock at doing both.

I AM going to learn how to take nice photos. I DO NOT want to make a living at it, I just want to take nice pix of my kids and my dogs and pumpkins or whatever the hell strikes my fancy.
